Chilika Lake is one of Odisha’s most breathtaking natural wonders, known as Asia’s largest brackish water lagoon. Travellers can enjoy boat rides here in wooden row boats, soaking in the natural charm.

Mangalajodi sanctuary, located on the northern edge of the lake, known as the Bird Paradise of Asia, hosts thousands of migratory and endemic birds each winter. Many of the local guides and boatsmen are transformed poachers, now helping with conservation.

Raghurajpur is a famous heritage village known for its beautiful Pattachitra paintings, a traditional art form that reflects the state’s rich culture and mythology. Skilled local artists create these intricate hand-painted works on cloth and palm leaves, making Raghurajpur a living center of Odisha’s artistic legacy.

This 20+ km heaven is a river canyon along the Satkosia Sanctuary, carved by the Mahanadi river as it flows down the Eatern Ghats. Located about 150 kms east of Bhubaneshwar, this destination has options for motorboats and river cruises to spot Mugger and Ghariyal crocodile as well as the rich birdlife.
