Spread over an area of over 900 sq. kms and across 2 districts, Kanha is the largest national park of Madhya Pradesh. From dry deciduous forests in highlands to swampy lowlands, the park has a diverse and captivating landscape.

Apart from the main mammals of central Indian wilderness, Kanha is also home to Barasingha.

🧭 Jabalpur is approx 170 kms away and offers good rail connectivity & limited air connectivity.

🧭 Nagpur is located approx 250 kms away but has the best air, rail and road connectivity for Kanha.

🧭 Gondia, located 160 kms away has good rail connectivity when travelling from east or south India.

Important For Planning ::
🔹 Kanha zone can also be accessed from Mukki gate while Kisli zone can be accessed from Sarhi gate.
