Umngot River Boating At Dawki

Living Root Bridges

Shaped from living tree roots atop streams by the Jaintia and Khasi tribes, these bridges, now a UNESCO world heritage site, can support several people and are found across Meghalaya.  The ones found at Cherrapunji and Shillong are more frequented due to easy accessibility. The bridge at Mwollynong is located en route Dawki.

Mawsmai Caves
